"Colbert’s proposal was a tempting one but we’ve been nurturing the initiative Curators of Sweden and have seen it grow for what it is: having Swedish citizens contribute with their own view of the country and the world and building up - by themselves - a free, plural and interactive communication platform. The initiative is a manifestation of the values Sweden is all about: tolerance, transparency and democracy without censorship”, säger Frida Roberts, Head of the Communications Unit at the Swedish Institute, i ett pressmeddelande.

"It’s been very exciting to realize that Stephen Colbert has such a strong interest in Sweden and our culture. We’re delighted to invite him over so that he can experience the openness and diversity of the Swedish society on the spot and in the first hand. We hope that he will visit us any time soon”, kommenterar Maria Ziv, Director of Marketing at VisitSweden.

Kampanjen "Curators of Sweden" belönades med Grand Prix i kategorin Cyber i Cannes Lions förra veckan.
